The 67th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67) has concluded, but the work still needs to be done; the conversations need to continue; and we must continue to support and uplift each as we did during this event.
We were happy to be back at CSW in person after a 2-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While we have continued to participate virtually at CSW in 2021 & 2022, we were thrilled to have 2 in-person events through NGO CSW. Both events were held the morning into the afternoon of March 7, 2023 at the Salvation Army International Social Justice Commission in NYC, NY, USA.
We presented the Afrofuturism Dream Tank with a focus on the future of Femininity and Food Sovereignty: Innovation and Technological Change, and Education. - Follow us on Instagram to see clips from both events.

The Bay Area Street Pantry is still operating every Friday at the Melrose Library in Oakland, CA.
We’ve moved our start time up to 10:30am now to accommodate the increase in foot traffic.
This year, we have welcomed new volunteers and continue to see more of the community every week.
